Following an invitation from the Emissions Characterization Task Group, UNIC project was presented at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Committee on Aviation Environmental Protection Working Group 3 (CAEP-WG3) meeting.
The presentation was part of an overview of selected research projects working to advance scientific knowledge on non-CO₂ emissions. This overview also included other projects funded under the same HorizonEurope call, dedicated to accelerating climate-neutral aviation while addressing non-CO₂ effects.
CAEP’s Working Group 3 is the body responsible for developing emissions standards under ICAO Annex 16, including the first international standards for nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM).
By contributing to this international discussion, UNIC project reinforces its objective to support evidence-based policymaking with scientific insight.
